What is GUM BUILDER™?
Receding gums don’t just change how your smile looks - they can also cause sensitivity, dark spaces between teeth, and a higher risk of future problems.
At Signature Dentistry in North Scottsdale, Dr. Sommers offers GUM BUILDER™, a non-surgical treatment that uses a biocompatible material called Radiesse® (calcium hydroxylapatite) to help your body rebuild and thicken gum tissue over time.
Instead of traditional gum grafting surgery, a small amount of Radiesse is gently placed near the areas of recession. This material acts like a “scaffold,” encouraging your body to produce new collagen so the tissue can become thicker, stronger, and more protective in the weeks that follow.
